Get involved at Reidvale and help make a difference to your housing association. We actively support tenants and residents getting involved and we are keen to hear your views.

Become a Member

Membership is open to anyone who

• Is our tenant
• uses our services , or
• supports our objectives as a community based housing association.

Please consider becoming a member so you can vote and meetings and join committees. Find out more about how to become a member by reading our Membership Policy.

Apply to join our Management Committee

Our Rules allow for a Management Committee consisting of up to 18 members, 15 of whom are elected. Three of the Committee may be co-opted by the Management Committee as they consider appropriate.

We are actively recruiting for new members for our Management Committee. We are keen to hear from anyone who has relevant skills and experience and is able to commit the time to be an active committee member.

Committee members are unpaid and voluntary but are supported through personal and team development to ensure the right skills and experience are in place to guide the Association forward. The Management Committee are responsible for the strategic direction and policies of the Association and employs staff to implement and administer these policies.

Consultation groups

We have a number of consultations planned in the next few months including a consultation on our Allocations Policy and our Factoring Service. We would like as many of our tenant and residents to respond to these consultations so we can take account of your views.

We will be issuing consultation documents and on-line surveys so please complete these and make your views known.

How to Raise a Complaint

Reidvale Housing Association is committed to providing high-quality customer service. If something goes wrong or you are dissatisfied with our services, please tell us. We value complaints and use information from them to help us improve our services. We regard a complaint as any expression of dissatisfaction about our action or lack of action, or about the standard of service provided by us or on our behalf.

Our Complaints Handling Policy and Procedure are based on the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman (SPSO) complaints process.
