Our story

Reidvale Housing Association has been part of South Dennistoun for generations.

The Association was created through local action, at a time when residents wanted better homes, stronger communities and a real say in the future of the area.  That community spirit remains an important part of who Reidvale is today.

Built from local action

Reidvale’s history is closely linked to the story of local people working together to improve homes and protect the character of the area.

Over the years, the Association has helped provide secure, affordable homes and contributed to the regeneration of South Dennistoun.

Proud of our past, focused on the future

We are proud of the role Reidvale has played in the community.

We also know that the organisation has been through difficult periods and that confidence has to be rebuilt.  We do not take trust for granted.

Today, our focus is on learning, improving and showing through our actions that Reidvale is here for the long term.

50 years of Reidvale

Reidvale recently marked its 50th anniversary.  This was an important moment to reflect on the Association’s history, the people who helped build it and the community it continues to serve.

As we look ahead, we want to honour that history by improving services, investing in homes and working more closely with tenants, owners, members and local partners.
