About Reidvale Housing Association

Reidvale Housing Association is a community-based housing association rooted in South Dennistoun.

We provide homes, support tenants and owners, maintain local buildings and work with residents and partners to help make the area a better place to live.

We are proud of our history and the role Reidvale has played in the community over many years.  We also know that trust is built through action.  That is why our focus is on improving services, communicating more clearly and being more visible in the community we serve.

What we do

We provide housing and services for tenants, owners and other residents in the Reidvale area.

Our work includes:

What we do What this means
Provide homes We manage 901 homes for people in the local area.
Repairs and maintenance We help keep homes, closes and common areas safe and well maintained.
Factoring services We provide services to owners in buildings where Reidvale acts as factor.
Community involvement We work with residents, members and local partners to support the wider area.
Governance and accountability We are led by a voluntary Management Committee and accountable to our members, tenants and regulators.

Rooted in South Dennistoun

Reidvale is not a large national landlord.  We are local, and that matters.

Our homes, staff, members and services are closely connected to South Dennistoun.  Many of the people we work with have lived in the area for years, and many others are building new lives here.

Being local means we know the area, understand the issues that matter to residents and be visible when people need us.

Changing for the future

Reidvale has been through a period of significant change.

We know that some people have lost confidence in the organisation, and we understand that trust is not rebuilt by words alone.  It is rebuilt by listening, following through and showing clearly what is changing.

Our focus is on:

- Improving services
- Communicating more clearly
- Investing in homes and buildings
- Supporting tenants and owners
- Being more open and accountable
- Working with the community and local partners
