I began working for the Association in 1998 as a Maintenance Assistant. This entails the administrative side of Repairs and Maintenance. My main role is the processing of Supplier and Contractor invoices for payment.
Previous to this I had worked within the Housing Sector employed in such roles as Repairs/Housing Assistant and Rent Officer.
This is the longest period of time I have ever worked with the same employer, which says a lot about my colleagues and employer.
I try to keep fit – but it doesn’t always work out. I recently completed the Edinburgh Moonwalk marathon and hope to do more fundraising challenges in the future.
